This page shows some shots that are not in the Yosemite National Park proper, but around it. I took these shots on the way back from Yosemite, along California State Route 120 and U.S. Highway 395.
	(digital) Tioga Lake is in the Inyo National Forest, right outside of Yosemite National Park to the east. There is dam with an Edison generator at the other end of this lake.
(digital)	Another shot of Tioga Lake. This is the right hand side of the Lake, relative to the previous picture. The white patches on the mountain is snow. I'm not sure what the elevation is here but we were as high as 9,000+ feet.
(digital)	A nice mountain-and-cloudscape shot. Route 120 is very scenic. However, since we were in somewhat of a hurry to return to L.A., we didn't have time to stop at many places. And there aren't that many places you can stop, other than on the shoulder. So I took many shots from the moving car, on the passenger side. This one turns out pretty well.
(digital)	This shot is from the intersection of Route 120 and Highway 395. Route 120 traces through these mountains you see here. After we came down from these mountains, we merge into Highway 395 going back to L.A.
	Mono Lake is also on the intersection of Route 120 and Highway 395. This shot is taken at the same place as the mountain shot above. The mountain shot faces west. This shot faces east. I also have a panoramic shot of Mono Lake stiched together from smaller shots that you can see here.
